Scenes from Thanksgiving
Grandma Kathy, Auntie Dot and the Cousins arrived on Tuesday night for Thanksgiving and the long weekend. They brought YaYa with them. We had kids around the bend and in every corner, and it was terrific. There were board games, sword fights outside, shopping trips to every thrift store in town, a visit to Bentleyville, a trip to see the lift bridge and do some shopping, movies, kapla block building sessions, and chess matches. There was piano music all throughout the day, and plenty of entertainment for Peanut Maximus.
Nathaniel asked for some “lemon juice,” meaning lemonade, but he was just as happy with juice squeezed right from the lemon into his mouth by Dr. Peds. He likes big, sour tastes.
