Happy about the Platypus

One of Dr. Peds coworkers knitted this amazing platypus for Peanut Maximus before he was born. She asked Dr. Peds what a good animal might be for our family, and of course he mentioned a platypus because The Banana continues to adore platypuses, and Mr. TOF is also an admirer of the fantastic animal. Let me tell you, I’ve had to defend that platypus from several sibling kidnapping attempts!

The Devious Snail mentioned the other day that it makes sense that Peanut Maximus is enjoying the knitted platypus so much because this is about the age when Mr. TOF was obsessed with a knitted carrot. There is something about that knitted texture in the mouth, and right now Peanut Maximus has the singular goal of getting anything and everything into his mouth.
