A Quick Visit with Old Friends
We had a great time playing with some of our favorite friends who visited from North Dakota last week. The visit was very short, but we managed to hike through the forest two different times, visit the stone tower, climb some giant trees, and climb on rocks at the beach in the bright, bright sunshine. Our friends brought along their small cousin, a little tyke with bright red hair that was so irresistible that I wanted to scoop him up and keep him here permanently. You can't see his amazing bright red hair in this picture, but trust me, it was blazing orange.
I love this apple blossom in my favorite Signe's ponytail. It was a warm sunny day when we drove down to the rocky beach, and all seven kids had so much fun playing in Lake Superior.
We munched on chocolate chip cookies for a snack.
Here are the tree climbers. They happen to be great readers, and some of my youngest blog readers. They climbed up the tree and specifically asked me to take this picture and put it on my blog. Here it is! Come visit us again!
