Scenes from Thanksgiving

Grandma Kathy brought this excellent pilgrim hat created by Cousin Janzie in first or second grade, and it still looks good on her now! Thanksgiving was a bustling time of tremendous activity. There were board games, trips to see Christmas lights and ships in the harbor, excursions to thrift stores and the playground. Everyday was filled with creative piano playing (one person right after the next) and Cousin Madison’s euphonium practice (she had a recital this last week!). A box of old pictures and artifacts was examined, and many creations were built from Kapla blocks and magnatiles. Stacks of picture books were read. Food was cooked. The happiest person of all was Peanut Maximus, who just simply loved the commotion and all the attention!
