Prom Pictures

After quite a bit of dress stress, this lovely yellow gown was the pick for the fancy evening! Of course, fancy high heels with sparkles were also part of the ensemble. Years of practice walking around in other people’s high heeled shoes means that The Banana is an expert in walking on high heels in every kind of terrain imaginable. (High heels are not allowed on the dance floor, so the sparkle shoes were later swapped out for converse sneakers with embroidered flowers)

The Banana and her friends got ready together and then went to the grounds of Glensheen to take pictures. Since it is a family tradition to have a sibling picture with the prom-goer, we met her there. The yellow dress coordinated wonderfully with the daffodils, and there was even green grass this year!
