Peanut Maximus

This little one just gets busier and busier every week. His favorite thing is being outside. He loves walking around the block, playing with balls in the front yard (especially if Mr. TOF plays with him!), swinging in his little blue swing, and the sandbox. Everything is an adventure outside.

He’s talking more and more each day, and between words and signs, he’s great at communicating.

He still loves reading books and he’ll just sit right down and “read” a stack to himself, book after book. Of course, he loves big people to read out loud to him as well.

He adores using markers to decorate paper, and recently sidewalk chalk has become a hit as well.

The other day he said “Mom!” over and over again for at least 15 minutes straight in the car.

Although he doesn’t sing with words, he definitely sings, stretching all sorts of vowel sounds into one another and sometimes singing in syllables that repeat. It’s so fun to hear.

He has been loving stuffed animals, and he’s absconded with quite a few that belong to his siblings.

He loves to eat, all the time and anytime. Lately he has been loving toast, avocados and strawberries, along with that trusty staple: cheese. He’s become very efficient with a spoon and can effectively down a bowl of yogurt or applesauce in no time flat without any help.
