Monday Morning Art
Mr. Sneaky Pants and The Banana wanted to do some art projects this morning. I said, "Sure!" The Banana loves these sponge dot paints. I had been looking at them in the craft store for months, and I finally just decided I'd purchase them. Sarah is really enjoying them too, but they are especially great for The Banana, because two year olds love to slam things on their paper and see what happens. I have many, many papers covered in colorful dots.
Mr. Sneaky Pants asked to use watercolor paints. I love how he's concentrating on painting a sun, rain, and fish poking out of a pond on his paper. Whenever he concentrates, he still sticks out his tongue.
They were both smitten with the idea of munching on an apple while they worked on their project. The Banana was especially excited about the apple. She was so taken with her fruit that she kind of forgot about the art project. She wanted me to take many, many pictures of her apple. There's nothing quite like a morning snack.
We also spent some time painting Lake Superior driftwood on our deck in the sunshine. It was messy and warm and good.
