Concerning Wedding Food

I was recently editing wedding images that I took for a former student’s wedding a few weeks ago. The Banana stated she wanted me to photograph her wedding some day, and I replied that no, I would not be doing that because I would need to be a mom on her wedding day. She rolled her eyes at me and told me she’d come up with some kind of plan. Not even thirty minutes later, Mr. TOF was in my office.

Mr TOF: Someday you can take pictures at my wedding!

Me: No, that will not be happening. I need to be the mom when you get married. Someone else will take the pictures.

Mr. TOF: Well that’s silly. What else would you need to be doing at my wedding?

Me: Well, there are all sorts of things I will need to be doing at your wedding. I will need to talk to people.

Mr. TOF: That’s ridiculous. You hate talking to people.

Me: Well, I’ll probably just have to manage that day. And also, I’ll have to be doing things like making sure that people have food to eat and other things like that.

Mr. TOF: OOOOOOoooooohhhhhhh NO! No way! There is absolutely no CHANCE that you are going to be TOUCHING food on my wedding day. We are not eating eggs and toast and apple slices! Someone else will be doing the food.
