Thanksgiving: Wrapping Paper Factory

The Devious Snail rode the bus home from college for Thanksgiving, and Aumnee came over to spend the day with us too. Dr. Peds was working, so it was just a low key day of kidlets hanging out while I cooked Thanksgiving food. We feasted for supper so that Dr. Peds could join us.

Here’s The Banana eating a bowl of pre-feast snow she scooped off the deck.

I put big pieces of paper from a paper roll on the activity table along with some paint sticks and markers, and the kidlets, big and little made wrapping paper all day. We ended up filling five or six big sheets with wonderful creative drawings. It was so fun to see everyone doing something creative together.

The mini trampoline was up from the basement, so the little one could jump when he wasn’t drawing. The weather was not super great, so it was a great way for him to let loose some energy.

The Banana inserted herself in her rightful place juxtapositioned right between these two. It was pretty hilarious.
