Late Evening

The Banana and I have been taking advantage of the light that lasts well into the evening, and after Peanut Maximus has gone to bed, we’ve been sneaking off for a sunset walk around the neighborhood, or even better, on the trails through one forest or another. I love this time of year, all the leaves sneaking out on their branches, marsh marigolds in the swampy areas, and conversation with my third kidlet, who always has interesting things to say.

Never mind that I’ll like to shrink her down and have a few more years for her to live in my house. In the meantime, I’ll take all the extra time I get to spend with her.
