You can, in fact, melt your dress with a hot iron. I never iron anything, but I decided to try to iron a dress I recently purchased and wasn’t necessarily sure would actually work for me. It was a special “scientific” fabric, and I didn’t realize the iron was on hot, so even though I was keeping that thing moving all around as I was ironing, I ended up with a scorch mark right on the front of the skirt. I guess I’m keeping the dress. I wore it to church anyway that same morning. Oh well.
At the piano I finished my hundred day project of learning a difficult Chopin etude. It wasn’t perfect by day 100, but I was amazed that I could actually play it pretty well! It was hard enough that when I started learning it, I wasn’t sure if I was actually going to be able to learn it.
I learned to use graphic design software to complete some projects for a volunteer organization I help.
