Not Pictured

My camera goes a lot of places with me, and the other day we ran into these beautiful roses in full bloom growing on a chain link fence next to where we parked to go to the beach. They were so lovely.

But here are some images that I didn’t manage to capture over the last few weeks because my camera was not handy:

• Just around the corner on the street Peanut Maximus often rides his balance bike on there was a teensy tiny hummingbird asleep upside down, hanging from a branch in a bush right next to the sidewalk. A random teenager passing by pointed it out to me and we both had to stop for a minute and just soak the adorable little feathered friend up.
• I left The Banana in charge of Peanut Maximus when i needed to run a quick errand, and when I arrived back home, they were both having a loud dance party in the kitchen, dressed up in costumes with capes and beaded necklaces and hats and all sorts of accessories, having a fantastic silly time together. Peanut Maximus has the best siblings. They are so, so good to him.
• Peanut Maximus loves his stuffie friends, and there are few things more adorable to me than when he comes down the hallway in his stripey-legged pajamas with his arms stretched around eight of his favorite stuffies barely able to see over them as he walks.
