Lollipop Concert

Last Sunday was the youth orchestra Lollipop Concert. It’s a many decade tradition here, and for the first time I only had one kid playing in it! That made me a little sad, actually. I was missing my big kidlets. But I still enjoyed the music and and loved seeing the different levels of orchestra players and cheering on some of my piano students who were also playing. It’s amazing how much they learn. I was actually missing The Banana the most during the youngest orchestra. I was remembering how magical her first concert was and I could even picture the other students who were playing with her who are now all in college. And the people YaYa was playing with in youth symphony that year are all FINISHED with college. Crazy!
