The New Trick

Someone is thrilled to be sitting up all on his own. He spends countless hours picking up this orange crocheted carrot and chewing on it.  He’s very proud of himself, and loves to be sitting right in the middle of a frenzy of activity.  He does NOT like to be bored.  The big kidlets were very impressed a few days ago when I plunked Squirmy down and he stayed put, an expert sitter, like he’d been busy sitting ever so stable for months.  They decided he was definitely ready for music class, since he could sit up by himself.
