Eight Months

He’s a busy boy these days, scooting and almost crawling across the floor to get to whatever looks interesting.  We are loving those sweet two bottom teeth that poked up in tandem a few weeks ago.  The big kidlets have gotten very good at picking him up and moving him back to the middle of the floor when he gets stuck under the couch and bonks his head on the fireplace hearth.  He still prefers orange vegetables, bananas and applecsauce.  Maybe I should restate that. He really refuses to eat anything that isn’t an orange vegetable, banana or applesauce.  And in fact, he’s not overly fond of carrots, much preferring sweet potatoes and squash.  Of course, he loves picking up tiny pieces of things from the floor that no one else notices, including pieces of dried shredded cheese and an occasional lego.  He doesn’t like messy diapers.  He likes to be entertained.  He would prefer to eat books than listen to a story.  He LOVES splashing in the bathtub.
