Equilibrio

We’ve been having a lot of fun with the puzzle/game Equilibrio.  When you open the box for this activity, you find a collection of small geometric blocks, and a large spiral bound notebook with pictures of all sorts of towers to build, arranged in sequential order from easiest to hardest.  They start out quite easy, but soon require some complex thinking skills to build.  Mr. Sneaky Pants loves this kind of a puzzle, and The Banana got into the action too, building a surprisingly tricky tower with a great degree of accuracy all on her own.  I like activities like these in the dining room for people to work on as they come and go, while others are doing homework or while I’m attempting to throw some food together to produce something edible for people to eat at a mealtime.
