A Treat: Eating Out for Lunch

I was starving.  Dr. Peds had the day off.  We decided to go out for lunch.  After thinking through the many culinary options available to us, we decided on one of my favorites, Va Bene, a small Italian restaurant that overlooks Lake Superior.  It is cozy.  The colors inside and outside the restaurant are beautiful.  I was sad that they had taken my favorite dish off the menu, but I was happy that I brought my camera.  The Banana's eyes were so blue.  She had pasta and strawberry gelato (because it's pink.)  Mr. Sneaky Pants snarfed down pizza and enjoyed his dish of dark chocolate gelato with pretty much all of his senses.  (It was a bit messy).
