Reading in the Afternoon

On weekends, when the other kidlets retire to their rooms for a little rest, Ya Ya does some silent reading.  Most of the time she is happy about that idea.  Sometimes she grumps because she'd rather be playing by herself.  Even she admits that once she gets started reading, she usually has so much fun she reads much longer than she had planned to.  On Saturday she was reading a neat book about fairies from the library.  She's also been really excited about the Ramona books by Beverly Clearly, which makes me happy because I've always just loved those books.
