Nine Months

  • Every waking moment he’s busy.  Either he’s on the go on the floor, scooting all over on his hands and knees, climbing up on small platforms (like the trampoline) and chasing the people he loves, or he’s busy picking up things with his tiny fingers.
  • He still does not like being in a room by himself.
  • He still does not like green vegetables (and now he’s added carrots to the no list) but I can sneak a spoonful in every fourth bite of applesauce and he doesn’t remember to spit it back out at me.
  • He likes the cat.  The cat does not like him.
  • He says “Dadadadadadada” and “Yayayayayayayaya.”  Although it isn’t exactly in context, this makes Dr. Peds and YaYa very happy people.  They’ve been doing a bit of gloating.
  • He loves to be outside in the stroller or on my back or carried in the Ergo on my front.  The grass in the front yard was dry enough for him to do a little exploring a few nights ago, and he discovered that pine cones and sticks are very tasty.  He had so much fun crawling on the grass.
  • He takes two enormous naps because he’s so busy all the time.  Hooray for naps!

  • Grandma Gin

Thank you for the monthly updates, and in betweeners. Even if he does not say mama your the best, to keep a pictorial diary for him. It is almost like being there. I miss him and all the kids. Love to all of you.

  • Gramma Robbie

This kidlet is such a charmer. He has gramma going back to look at him all the time, funny I get any work done.
