Mess of the Week: The Driveway Edition

Bump

I buckled everyone into their carseats.  I loaded up all the instruments and materials.  I was in the car and on the way to music class.  I drove down the hill of my driveway, looked one way, and looked the other way, and looked the first way again, and oh my heavens!  There was the mailman in the mail truck!  I slammed on the brakes, (I was only going about 2 miles per hour) but the driveway was snow covered.  The mailman slammed on his brakes, but the street was snow covered and icy, and neither of us managed to stop.  The nose of my car got bumped.  We had to call the postal supervisor.  He had to take pictures and file a report.  Luckily, the mail truck didn't even have a scratch on it, and everyone was very pleasant about the whole issue.

In the midst of all that, The Banana had a potty accident.  I took her inside.  I called the person in charge at the assisted living place to tell them I wouldn't be able to make it to class. I left The Banana inside, wailing away.  I brought Mr. Sneaky Pants inside, and he wailed away.  We took care of all the reporting, and I came back inside to find two kidlets, happily playing together.  That should have made me suspicious.

Sure enough, five minutes later, I discovered them sneaking around the corner and raiding the bag of raisins.  They love raisins. I keep the raisins locked up.  I don't know how they found the raisins.  They ate half of a VERY LARGE bag of raisins.

I now have two kidlets with very distinct cases of diarrhea.  To make matters worse, I gave in last night and let them eat pizza, which they also love, but it doesn't sit well in their tummies either, and well, let me tell you it's been a day of unpleasant odors around here.
