Conversations: While Digging up a Tree Stump
Mr. Sneaky Pants and Dr. Peds were digging up a big tree stump on the corner of the house where a tall juniper bush died over the past few winters. An ax was involved, which made Mr. SP very happy.
Mr. SP: Dad, what’s the strongest thing in the world?
Dr. Peds: Uhm, probably love.
Mr. SP: Oh. (exasperated pause) Well, what’s the strongest thing that’s not a fluid inside your body like love?
Dr. Peds: Hmmmm. Probably God.
Mr. SP: I knew that. But what’s a really strong thing that is something hard on and on the earth.
Dr. Peds: Do you mean, like a material?
Mr. SP: Yeah.
Dr. Peds: Well, diamonds might not be the very strongest thing, but they are one of the strongest materials.
Mr. SP: Yes! Diamonds would work. That is what I was thinking of.

I have a lot of that fluid in my body called love for this guy, and all of his siblings. This is one to treasure.
