Mad

There are a few things that make Squirmy very angry.  For example, he hates green grass.  If his skin touches green grass he has a temper tantrum.  He doesn’t like to be in his high chair when he can’t see the other kidlets, and he hates getting out of the bathtub.  What makes him maddest of all, though, is when he wakes up f and finds out he’s still in that crib.  This child does not wake up happy.  There is no brief interval of self entertainment after slumber.  He wakes up having wailing in his angriest and most desperate cry and demands that he be picked up immediately.  And no, he doesn’t have an immediate diaper change in mind, even though he needs one, so that makes him mad too.  It’s only when he’s clean and dry and being carried downstairs for a complementary serving of milk does he cheer back up to his normal disposition.
