Conversations: Next to the Patio Door

The Banana was standing on the walkway between the deck and the patio door with her bike and the bicycle tire pump.  Dr. Peds was around the corner of the house.  She started pumping air into the basket of her bike and singing.  Then she got a brilliant idea.

The Banana:  (shouting)  Daddy!  Dad!  Daddy!  DADDY!

Dr. Peds:  What, honey?

The Banana:  Come here right away!

Dr. Peds:  What do you need?

The Banana:  I need you to fix my bike.

Dr. Peds:  What’s wrong with your bike?  (He walks around the corner).

The Banana:  (holding up the bicycle tire pump hose) You need to put gas in my bike right away.  I think it goes in the wheels.

Dr. Peds:  Sweetie, your bike is fine.

The Banana:  But I”m sure these little wheels need some.

Dr. Peds:  Training wheels don’t need gas or air, Dear.
