Someone Loved the Sandy Beach

I have lots of pictures to share from this evening and I’ll do that soon, but let me just say that Squirmy was in his element at the sandy beach.  There were wide open spaces to explore, sand to move around and toss into the air, and lots of commotion to watch.  I liked the sandy beach tonight too, because there weren’t too many people, and there wasn’t garbage in the sand, for the most part.  I haven’t gone to the sandy beach as often lately because it makes me so furious when I find icky garbage in the sand.  It kind of makes me gag.  Also, it is a lot of work to clean people up from the sandy beach, but oh so fun to play in the limitless sand when we are there.

I also liked the large bowl of delicious ice cream I ate on the way home from the sandy beach and looking at the amazing clouds making up a thunderstorm to the southeast.  What a nice summer evening.
