Scenes from the Cabin: Smores

Of course there were smores!  There were traditional smores with graham crackers and a new smore experiment involving keebler fudge striped cookies, which got rave reviews.  There were nicely toasted marshmallows, and marshmallows burned to smitherines.  There was a minor, but a bit traumatic burn on one child’s hand, lots of giggles and sugar induced excitement in the midst of totally exhausted children who had been constantly on the move playing in the water all day long.  The setting sun was rosy, and the light sprinkled in beautifully.  Magdalena supplied all sorts of glow sticks.  There has to be at least one smore night in every cabin trip.
