We were driving in the car recently. From the back: Squabble. Squabble. Squabble. Squabble.
Dr. Peds: OK, that’s enough.
Me: It’s time to sit quietly. No talking.
Silence for 45 seconds.
One Distraught Kidlet from the back of the van (sadly, actually I don’t even remember which kidlet): I KNOW you are making fun of me in your MIND right NOW! STOP IT!
Ah, yes, squabbling. It’s so very counterproductive to accomplishing anything (especially a harmonious family lifestyle) and yet it is what keeps them busy all day long. Every. Single. Day.
