The Tree

Here it is, in it's decorous glory!  I am so excited about it.  We even splurged and bought special round colored lights for it.  Mr. Sneaky Pants loves colored lights, and he was most excited of all the kidlets to put up the tree.  Everyone helped make a little bit of the crochet chain to decorate the branches, and we raided our paper clip collection to make hooks for all of the ornaments.  We didn't need hooks for our artificial tree.  We have an angel for the top of the tree, but I just couldn't bear to cover the top of this lovely little Charlie Brown Christmas tree up, so the angel got relegated to the artificial Christmas tree in the family room which proudly bears all of our kid-made ornaments.  Maybe I'll make another post about those ornaments soon, because there is no Christmas ornament I love more than kid-made ornaments.
