The Banana: Back at Preschool

It happened a couple of days before her birthday, of course, that The Banana had her first day of preschool for this school year.  She had been waiting fervently since the last day of preschool in the fall.  Suffice it to say that my social girl thrives at preschool.  She loves everything about it, although she did say to me before school started, “Mama, I love school, but it’s a LOT of hard work to try and remember to always wash your hands and keep your fingers out of your nose.”  She’s been busy, busy, busy there:  dressing up, creating art, playing on the playground and imagining and pretending with her friends.  Every day she comes home hoping she can go back the very next day.
