The Adventure Begins
The luggage that we need to cram into the car is taking up 1/3 of the floor space in our family room. The cat has a very clean litter box, three bowls of food and two bowls of water. The fish is munching on food. The Christmas paraphanelia coming with us is astounding. I've said to the kidlets at least five times in the last half hour that two large baskets of books will be plenty for the car ride, and that they can bring ONE stuffed animal each, not four. My ipod is well stocked with children's fiction audiobooks. I have remembered everyone's toothbrush, and all the birthday things to celebrate YaYa's special day. We'll be gone all week to celebrate Christmas in North Dakota with our families.
