Of Note

He greatly enjoys a lengthy bath. In particular, he likes dumping and pouring. He especially likes pouring things out of the bathroom.
The kid is quick. Turn your back for a second in the public library, and he’ll be out of sight and tricky to find even though he’s wearing a red coat with a hood.
He has discovered birds and squirrels and wants to see them out the window ALL OF THE TIME. If they don’t happen to be in sight he has a little temper tantrum.
He is seriously attracted to puzzle pieces. Yesterday I noticed it had been quiet for about five minutes, and when I arrived on the scene he had completely dumped out three boxes of puzzles together in a pile on the floor. He thought it was grand. Unfortunately all of the puzzles involved similar scenes with similar colors, which meant that he had an earlier than usual bedtime and I spent a great deal of time putting together puzzles in the evening.
He has become seriously attached to his flannel baby blankets. It doesn’t matter which flannel baby blanket, and we have several, but it had better be the right kind of thin flannel blanket or else.
His favorite word is currently “Uh oh!” and he says it all the time. Often with good reason.
