An Evening at Stony Point

On Saturday evening we took a little trip just a bit up the shore to Stony Point.  It’s such a fun beach, always less crowded and full of super neat rocks and crevices.  Of course, at this time of the year we were pretty much the only people around, which was the perfect opportunity for my wild and crazy kidlets to let out some of their cooped up energy.  To the disdain of the biggest sister, there was a lot of scrambling, climbing and leaping.  They slid down ice sheets, and destroyed a lot of really beautiful icicles.  Mr. Trouble on Feet discovered that he could toss ice chunks of the appropriate size just like the best of the others, and he was more than slightly tickled with himself.  We stayed until sunset, and no on fell off a cliff.  All was well.  It was good to be outside.
