Built During Winter Break

There was no school last week, and the kapla blocks got a good workout from YaYa.  It was fun to see her really get creative and built some amazing things.  There were several very impressive structures that the cat unfortunately knocked over before I managed to capture them, including a really amazing Eiffel tower that she spent more than an hour creating based of a picture we found on the iPad.  It had all the platforms, curves and everything!  We were disappointed to miss the picture, because she really spent a lot of time on it.  Here are a few samples of some of the things she built:

The last image is the start of the Eiffel tower.  Working with kappa blocks takes so much patience and concentration, but it is amazing what you can make with a bunch of identical planks.
