Reading Update

Publiclibrary

I've been TERRIBLE about updating my reading sidebar list!  Tonight, however, I spent some time listing some of our recent favorites.  Although nothing new had been listed for almost a month, we have kept our librarians busy!  I love being able to search out books on the public library's website and then requesting them to be put on hold.  They will transport the materials from the main library to the branch library in our neighborhood (we are SOOO lucky to have a branch library in our neighborhood, and even within easy walking distance).  Then, all I have to do when I am herding three children through the library is walk up to the desk to get the materials I really need, and we are free to browse whatever we want at the library.  I don't even have to try to navigate all those tiny feet through the grown up sections of the library.

So, readers who read, check out the sidebar today!

Grace and I also LOVE our public library. I am always on the lookout for good recommendations, and she loves the same books that your kids love! Both Not a Box and What are you doing, Sam? have become huge hits around our house. What are you doing, Sam? makes Grace giggle every single time she reads it – whether it’s Fred the dog wearing glasses or peanut butter pancakes. She thinks the whole thing is just hilarious. Thanks for the great recommendations!
