They are Fixing a Street Just One House Down

The constant rumble from dawn until dusk, and even worse, the incessant beeping as the heavy equipment backs up again and again might be a little nervewracking, and it definitely takes the peaceful out of a nice summer day, but it turns out that heavy equipment is THE BEST entertainment for the toddler boy set, of course.  I had forgotten how much little boys just love construction equipment.  In his spare moments, Mr. Trouble on Feet drags his lawn chair to the border between our yard and our neighbor’s yard, and just sits watching the diggers dig gigantic holes in the street.  The bulldozers push dirt around.  Construction workers mill about in their hard hats.  He thinks it is especially hilarious when the digger swivels around and dumps a bucket of dirt.
