Baby Katherine and Cousin Alex Visit for the Weekend

It was a frenzy of activity over the weekend!  Cousins!  Pumpkins!  Church!  There was a constant buzz inside the house as little feet ran this way and that way and up and down.  The cat did not know what to do, and it made him grumpy.  Cousin Alex kept saying, “That kitty a grumpy kitty!”  They played trains.  They played cars.  They played with anything and everything in their path, and did it with gusto.

Mr. Trouble on Feet LOVES his cousins, especially Baby Katherine.  He emphatically signs “baby” and says “Kuh-Kuh-Kuh-Kuh-Kuh” for her name.  He smothered her with hug and has been talking about her constantly since she left.  That Baby Katherine, she is a doll, a squishy, adorable squeezable doll that really is just too cute for words.  She’s having a bit of separation anxiety, so this strange aunt was not her favorite person most of the time (but just wait!  I will win her over!) However, I did manage to sneak in a bit of fun with her when her Mama was gone.  As long as Gramma Kathy was nearby I was OK if her Mama was not present.

Of course we love Cousin Alex!  He’s the busiest guy I’ve ever met, and has some pretty strong opinions, but he’s adorable. He calls me “Rachel” without the “Auntie” no matter how much his mother doesn’t approve, and I LOVE that!  I enjoyed all of his talking so much, and love watching him be busy, busy busy.  He’s going to have energy for LIFE, that boy!  He’s so much fun.
