Christmas Eve: Making Wrapping Paper

In the morning on Christmas Eve, Auntie Dot took the three big kidlets to Barnes and Nobles.  Dr. Peds and Uncle Don went out to visit outdoor gear stores, and I stayed home with the three little kidlets.  First we made wrapping paper, since I didn’t have quite enough for the last few presents I needed to wrap.  They had a wonderful time covering the paper in ink and scribbling with markers.  Next, we got out the play dough bin, and had a wonderful time making all sorts of creations.  Then we read an enormous stack of books and ate lunch.  When the boys went down for a nap, Baby Katherine woke up. She was in a delightfully snuggly mood, and since no one else was available, she snuggled with me for forty five minutes!  It was wonderful.  I loved having a bit of special one on one time with some of my very favorite little people.
