Frozen

A few weeks ago I filled a heart shaped muffin pan and a heart shaped cake pan with colored water and left them outside to freeze.  The next day I decorated the bush next to the deck in the back yard with frozen ornaments.  I liked the result so much I had to make some more, and now there are lots of hearts on the bush and bigger ones from the cake pan hanging from the swing set and a shepherd’s hook in the back yard.  I love looking out the window and seeing the frozen hearts glistening in the sun and twisting and twirling a whirling dance in the wind.  It makes being cooped up inside with sick people (lots and lots of sick and feverish people this week, with a new kind of virus!) much more bearable.
