Cousin Jack Cooks for Monsters on the iPad

When I was visiting my family last week, Jack had so much fun cooking crazy food for monsters using a really fun ipad app.  I knew immediately after watching him slice, blend, boil and fry various vegetables, fruit, and meat that the app would be perfect for Mr. TOF, who loves to cook and loves monsters.  We installed the app on our own ipad and it has been a big hit here too.

As soon as my Uncle Roger arrived at my mom’s house, Jack was right next to him with his mom’s ipad, showing Uncle Roger how to cook for monsters.  Later in the evening, the two of them spent a long time slicing, dicing, and microwaving lemons, hot dogs, tomatoes and all sorts of other foods.  I love watching my Uncle Roger with kids.  I think it’s because he sort of seems like a jolly Santa Claus, and he can hold great conversations with grown ups and kids alike.
