In the car on the way to church:

Noah: I am so ANGRY about nothing.

He’s been so angry about nearly everyone and everything for the last few weeks. Although it gets a bit frustrating at times to hear “I’m so angry about . . . ” spoken in a dramatic fashion with heartfelt anger, we really believe that this is a step in the right direction. At least using words to let us know about his frustration is better than random, loud, unexplained screaming.

Note the large Sesame Street bandaid on his face. Yesterday he tripped on something somewhere in the house (go figure, given the mass quanitites of kid belongings on the floor in every room) and scratched his face. There were two drops of blood, which resulted in a conference with Dr. Dad to reassure him he was going to be alright, and a large colorful bandaid from sympathetic old Mom.
