At Chester Park

The big kidlets love this merry-go-round at Chester Park.  They are hard to find these days, and I know I’ve posted pictures of them spinning on it before.  Whenever we go to that park, it’s the first place they head, and it always makes me happy that they enjoy a timeless piece of playground equipment so much.

There was a short game of dropped it-got it, one of my childhood favorites.

There was perilous upside down spinning.  There was shrieking and laughing and extreme dizziness.  There was a time in my life where being dizzy was fun.  I’m past that now.

There was one small tumble and one big cry.  I’m not sure if she was more upset about the scrape or more frustrated about not being able to walk over to our bench because she was so dizzy.   Don’t worry, she was back at it with the others in no time flat.
