Alex and Katherine Visit the Sandy Beach

Because people napped at weird times for various reasons, we needed an evening outing to expend a bit of energy, tire some small people out.  To the beach we went!

He was hiding from me.  

Walking in sand is tricky.

All six kidlets were in and out of the water and running in all directions on the beach!  I loved it.

We inserted the extra seat in our van so that we could pack in all six kids and take one vehicle.  The car was one very hopping place!  It was crazy!  Sometimes it was squabbly, and it was most certainly memorable!  Six sandy kids in a car is without a doubt interesting! (There’s always one in the bunch who doesn’t want anyone to touch him, and  at least another one in the bunch who enjoys seeing what happens when a bit of pestering takes place).  After the sun set we loaded everyone up and drove home for hot showers and a second set of clean pajamas.

The amount of sand in the car the next morning made me laugh!
