The Effects of Not Mowing My Lawn

I haven’t mowed my front lawn since the 23rd of July. This is mainly due to the fact that we are in the middle of a horrible drought and everything is brown and crackly. There is a litlte patch of green grass, not too long, right around the area where our sump pump hose ends, and that is the location that these adorable delicate little flowers popped up a week or so ago. I think they are stunning, a blooming oasis in a sea of crunch.
