Mr. Trouble on Feet Plays Outside

Mr. Trouble on Feet has discovered the joy of playing in the snow.  In previous winters he was not a fan of snow, or sleds, even when someone was just pulling him around the yard.  This time around, though, he was thrilled about the snow!  The deeper the better!  He loves tromping around in it, even though now that we have so much the snow comes up to his chest!  Our three snow days were successful here, largely because the snow was new and fun, and everyone was excited to leave the house and go play in the yard.  It helped that there were lots of kids in the neighborhood outside playing.  Mr. TOF was just happy to be a part of the group, and didn’t care one bit that snow was inside his mittens and inside his snow boots.  The weather was warm while it was still snowing, so they were able to stay out for long periods of time.  When they did come in they were covered from head to toe in wet snow!  We went through every piece of outerwear we owned; it couldn’t dry fast enough for the next trip outside!

Mr. Trouble on feet adores shoveling.  He spent so much time shoveling the paths in the yard, and making new paths through the deep snow with his shovel.  His happiness made all the bundling and rebuilding worthwhile.
