New Soup Cooking Attire
Ms. Crazy Preschooler had absolutely no summer shoes that fit, so on Sunday she and I did a little shopping: one pair of play sandals for swinging on swingsets, and walking around the neighborhood, one pair of sandals that will stay neat and clean for church, and a cheap pair of flip flops for her stew cooking expeditions in the afternoon. (Mr. Perpetual Mess also got a pair of cheap orange flip flops, which he calls his “sip slops.” He chronically slips them on the wrong feet)
Cooking soup remains a most popular outside activity here, especially since we have a new yard and there are new and different leaves, berries, and growing things to pluck and put in the stew, not to mention 203 bizillion small pine cones all around our yard from the many scraggly 80 year old pine trees that reach into the sky with tired, worn out branches.

I think I need some of that soup today. How about it Sarah? Send me some in the mail.
