Making Progress

The sea of boxes is slowly diminishing! Most of the house is starting to get organized, although progress still needs to be made, particularly in the basement. There is a path in the basement to the washing machine, but I still have some heavy duty work to do down there, and I haven’t even started to organize garage things. We left an enormous garage for a teensy tiny one and a tool shed, so that is going to be an adjustment.

I love, love, love my new house. When things are just a bit more organized I’ll take some pictures of it and go into more detail about specific things that are making me extremely happy. Here’s a snapshot of The Banana on our front sidewalk. I have always wanted a house with steps up the sidewalk from the street and a curved door. Exciting. (I took this while Mr. Perpetual Mess was throwing a colossal fit in his room . . . he was overtired because he couldn’t fall asleep at nap, and Ms. Crazy Preschooler was playing with her dollhouse in the sunroom).
