Grandparents

During my extremely rapid trip to North Dakota and back to Wisconsin over the past two and a half days, I was blessed to visit, although briefly, both of my grandmothers. I sorted and hauled boxes out of Grandma Jan’s basement where I had been storing a load of stuff while we were on hiatus in Wisconsin, and had a nice little visit with her before she was off to her daily nap of great length. Unfortunately I didn’t have my camera with me during the visit, so later on I snapped a picture of her napping. Doesn’t she look cozy? This grandma loves her naps, and always has, so I was happy to get this image of her sleeping. She sleeps all the time, and the only other picture I have of her sleeping makes her look, well, dead,to be exact, and that’s really not how I’d like to remember her, especially since she isn’t dead.

And this Grandma Edna. She lives in senior citizen apartments. We had a fantastic, although short, visit. I’ll tell you more about her unique personality soon. Right now I have some packing to do!
