First Haircut Store Experience

Ms. Crazy Preschooler decided that she was ready to try having someone who actually knows how to cut hair have a hand at her head. I thought this was magnificent since I am really very uncomfortable trying to hack away at what few tresses the poor child is blessed with. So, this afternoon we interupted making stew in the snow with runoff water from the roof and old mushy leaves from a muddy flowerbed to take a little trip to see a professional.

I explained to the girl how slow her hair grows and told her to do what she thought would be best to keep it healthy and help it to grow thicker. She looked at the lack of hair on the top of Ms. CP’s head and said the best thing would be to put in lots of layers. The lack of weight on the hair on top of her head should help it to thicken up. So we went with layers. I am not really a layers person! Everytime I look at her I am surprised! But, Ms. CP loves it and that’s what’s important, and it DOES feel thicker and healthier already.
