Seamstress
YaYa made this skirt! What I mean is this: she took a hunk of fabric off of her fabric shelf. She thought about what she wanted to do with it. She decided to make a skirt. She looked though a bunch of books about sewing. She combined instructions from two or more of the books. She researched sewing with stretchy knit fabric. Then she sewed the skirt, all within a couple of hours.
I’m a little jealous. I also wish the skirt fit me.
I love that she’s not afraid to experiment and learn things on her own, because believe me, I am of NO help in the sewing department. It’s so much fun seeing what she’ll come out of her room with next.
