AWANA Cars

Last Saturday was the long awaited AWANA Grand Prix.  We were fortunate to have Valley City cousins visiting to increase our cheering section at the race.

Mr. Sneaky Pants and Dr. Peds built this sleek beauty.  It was very fast.  It was also shiny and pretty.

I didn’t take very many pictures at the race this year, but here you can see Mr. SP’s car on the far right, zipping down the track.

The Banana made  a lollipop forrest.  I really loved it.  There were so many great little details:  the fallen lollipop logs and the chopped down stumps, and the little bits of lollipops in the river.

There were some really amazing cars at the race this year:  a chicken with real feathers, a rose garden with a picket fence, a question mark, letters that spelled AWANA.  I love how creative everyone is.
