Sleeping Up High

In the midst of several sewing projects, YaYa spent much of her long, warm weekend camped out in the treehouse.  On Friday night she ascertained that the weather was perfect for extended treehouse lounging, and asked if she could spend the night up there.  It was warm, calm, no rain was forecasted, and best of all, since it has been mostly frigid right up until this weekend when suddenly we were roasting in the sunshine, at the start of this weekend there were no mosquitos flying about.  (By the last night of the weekend, a few had hatched).  YaYa assembled piles of bedding and cushions and pillows and headed out with her book and flashlight.  She spent the next night there as well, and much of her days were occupied by relaxing and reading among the leaves.  It is exactly what I would have done if I were twelve.  Actually, I was tempted to kick her out and read up there myself.
